RHA has replaced all HCV staff over the past several months. We are striving to better serve the residents and community in this transition period and going forward. Please watch under the Section 8 / HCV tab for staffing changes.

Sunset Gardens

Sunset Gardens project is almost completed. RHA has a Temporary Certificate of Occupancy until all outstanding work items by contractor and subcontractors are completed. Once we get a permanent Certificate of Occupancy, we will be having an Open House and will begin opening to the public for our voucher clients then. We’ll keep you posted on the progress.

We are currently at our office location below but are still not open to the public until a permanent Certificate of Occupancy is received by the City of Renton.

Special Board Meeting

There is no Special Board Meeting scheduled at this time.

Renton Housing Authority Board Meetings

All Board meetings will be held on the fourth Monday of each month unless during a holiday.  Any rescheduling will be posted here.

The next regular Monthly Board Meeting has been scheduled for July 22, 2024 at 9 am PST. If you would like to attend the Board Meeting and speak, please contact Michael Bishop at 425-226-1850 ext. 223 or email at msb@rentonhousing.org. Annual PHA Plan

The FY 2023 Streamlined Annual PHA Plan is now available for public comment. You can view the document in our Document Library under Resources. Please submit all comments to info@rentonhousing.org.

New Property Management

Renton Housing Authority’s Property Management has transitioned to Allied Residential. Notice to residents can be found here.

CARES ACT

The CARES ACT funding received by Renton Housing Authority to help with rental assistance has expired. No further funds will be available.

Contact Neighborhood House or the City of Renton to see what other funds may be available.
